Pirates of Dark Water - Sega Genesis

Pirates of Dark Water is an action-adventure game for Sega Genesis based on the animated Saturday morning series. The game sends Ren, Tula, and Ioz across island stages in a swashbuckling search tied to the Dark Water storyline.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Side-scrolling action focuses on swordplay, platforming, and enemy encounters across island-to-island adventure stages.
• Players can choose from three warrior heroes: Ren, Tula, or Ioz.
• Each hero has unique fighting abilities, with the option to switch characters during play to handle different dangers.
• The game includes extra treasure content beyond the cartoon, including the missing piece of Ren’s sword.
• Built as a 16 Meg Genesis release, giving the game a larger cartridge format for its era.

The game connects directly to the Hanna-Barbera Pirates of Dark Water franchise, with Ren’s quest and the trio of playable heroes anchoring its console adaptation. Its adventure structure centers on the same island-hopping search that drives the animated series.
