• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Original online services for this game or platform have been discontinued; any offline or local modes still work normally.
• The Breakaway Engine lets players chain jukes, stiff arms, spins, and directional movement into fluid ball-carrier moves.
• Mascot Play includes touchdown celebrations with school mascots and a Mascot Mash Up mode that puts mascots directly on the field.
• Home Field Advantage adds pressure-based moments such as the Quarterback Quiz, icing the kicker, and pumping up the home crowd.
• Formation Audibles, Smart Routes, custom in-game music, HORSE, and Special Teams Challenge expand the college football feature set.

The game sits in the long-running NCAA Football series between NCAA Football 08 and NCAA Football 10, with this entry emphasizing the Breakaway Engine and new Mascot Play modes.
