Burgertime - NES

BurgerTime is an NES arcade game from Data East starring Chef Peter Pepper. The game turns burger-making into a maze-style kitchen chase where enemy foods close in as each ingredient is dropped into place.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Arcade-style action centers on climbing ladders, crossing platforms, and completing burgers while avoiding roaming Food Foes.
• Chef Peter Pepper can use pinches of pepper to briefly stun Mr. Hot Dog, Mr. Egg, and Mr. Pickle.
• Enemies can also be lured onto or under burger buns, lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes to clear space and keep the stage moving.
• The challenge progresses across six screens, with burger assembly becoming tougher as the game advances.
• Data East positioned this NES version as an at-home take on its arcade gameplay style.

BurgerTime’s food-themed maze design gives it a distinct place among early NES arcade conversions. Its named cast of Chef Peter Pepper, Mr. Hot Dog, Mr. Egg, and Mr. Pickle keeps the premise immediately recognizable.
